Your opening day of free agency summary

Not the wildest opening day, but by no means the worst.  Here's the skinny:

• Goaltender Curtis McElhinney (re-)signed for one year to a two-way contract.  $750,000 if he plays in the NHL, $105,000 as an AHLer.
• Left wing Nick Foligno (a restricted free agent) acquired from Ottawa for defenseman Marc Methot.  As he's an RFA, there are no salary numbers yet.
• Defenseman Adrian Aucoin signed for one year.  $2 million.
• Left wing Johnathan Audy-Marchessault signed to a three-year, entry-level contract.
• Rick Nash: Still here.
• No UFA Blue Jackets signed.
