Howson seems like he's trying to have his cake and eat it too...either the team is a failure and needs to be blown up, or they didn't have time to gel and YOU GIVE THEM MORE TIME. Make up your damn mind.
That being said, I think the TSN analysis is right: this trade is good for both teams. I'm not convinced that it couldn't have worked out with Carter in Columbus, but at the same time if the Jackets can only have one of Carter or Johnson, I'm taking Johnson.
